If you could ask Jane to rewrite a scene in one of her books, would you? And if so, which scene and why?

Not necessarily a scene, but an overall makeover. You see, I'd ask Austen to make Marianne Dashwood a little less obnoxious. Her overly emotional and self-absorbed personality is a necessary contrast to Elinor, but it's so aggressive that I simply can't enjoy the book.

I don’t know if I would change anything in her completed works, but I do wish I knew the middle and ending of Sanditon. The set up for that novel was so exciting, and though I’ve enjoyed other author’s interpretation/guesses as to how she might have completed it, I would have liked to have Jane Austen’s definitive take.
