Aw, thanks, Elly! This time, I mixed half the sugar with the almond flour, and the other half gradually into the egg whites as they became stiff. The almond flour stabilized these crunchy bits of sweet air. Orange blossom water I found at Bill’s Imported Foods, also spied at my food coop sometimes.
We enjoyed them today with tea or coffee and some different games, including Pride and Prejudice, Sweethearts and Lizzy loves Darcy, in a small but mighty gathering!
